The Karalappakkam Society for Rural and Sustainable Development (KSRSD) is a secular non-profit organization engaged in welfare and developmental activities in the rural areas of Tamil Nadu. KSRSD works on the premise of Sustainable Development, with a pro-nature, pro-poor and pro-women approach. Established in the year 2000, KSRSD is registered under Societies Registration Act XXVII of 1975 in the state of Tamil Nadu (Registered Number 455/2000).


 
Subiksham

Subiksham is a Sanitary Napkin Training and Production Unit emerged from a collaborative project of ARAI/DISVI International (Italy) and KSRSD to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable groups in Vengal village Thiruvallur district.

 
This program aims to make the school atmosphere conducive for teachers to teach and students to learn, to engage the parent-teacher community in more interaction to improve the educational standards of their wards, and other need based essential interventions to enable better performance of teachers as well as students.
